During this program I learned that I can learn how to do things and want to do things without necessarily wanting them to be my permanent career. One of the most impactful moments of my year was at a Welding Shop on one of the field trips. The person showing us around was talking about his life, about being in a band and traveling and doing so many things. This showed me that I can explore all of my passions without spending the rest of my life doing only one.

 

    The top careers I am interested as of now are something in law, politics or art. My ideal job would include all of these, the things specifically I’m interested in is Civil Rights Lawyer or Political Mural Painter. I want to do something that affects other people.
