Over the course of seven weeks, we found a high contrast photo and sketched out an outline on 18x24 in paper. Next we experimented with colors and did a few studies of our photo. After two critiques and a lot of refinement, the final product was presented to the class.

After finding a high-contrast black & white photograph, we took a pure black sheet of paper and sketched out our photo with pencil.
